Fee Schedule & Engagement Terms
General Fee Policy
Vehicle Valuation Authority (“VVA”) provides appraisal services on a fee-for-service basis. Pricing is based on the appraisal type, vehicle complexity, and scope of work required. All fees are disclosed prior to engagement. Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of appraisal work.
Pricing Structure
Appraisal fees vary by appraisal type, including Fair Market Value Appraisals, Specialty Vehicle Appraisals, and Diminished Value Appraisals. Pricing reflects the level of analysis required. Specific pricing amounts are provided separately through the website, invoice, or engagement confirmation.
Specialty & Complexity Adjustments
Certain vehicles may require additional analysis beyond a standard appraisal scope, including significant modifications, restorations, limited-production vehicles, or atypical market data. Any applicable adjustments will be disclosed and approved prior to proceeding.
Payment Terms
Payment must be received and cleared prior to the start of appraisal work. Appraisal reports will not be released until payment has been received.
Cancellations
If an appraisal engagement is canceled before work has begun, a cancellation fee equal to a percentage of the appraisal cost may apply to cover administrative time and payment processing fees. If cancellation occurs after work has begun, fees may be non-refundable based on the amount of work completed.
Refund Policy
Because appraisal services involve professional analysis and time-based work, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at VVA’s discretion. Once work has commenced, fees are generally non-refundable.
Revisions & Reviews
One appraisal review is included at no additional charge should the client request clarification or factual review. Additional reviews or revisions beyond the initial review may be subject to additional fees.
Changes to Scope
If material changes occur after engagement, including undisclosed modifications or changes to intended use, VVA reserves the right to revise the scope of work and associated fees with client approval prior to proceeding.
Fee Disputes
Any concerns regarding fees or billing must be submitted in writing within a reasonable timeframe. Fee disputes do not suspend payment obligations.
